The Public Health Agency (PHA) wishes to tender for the following service. This procurement is for services classified under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) as Social and Other Specific Services and listed in Schedule 3 to the Regulations. However, the value of the contracts falls below the financial threshold required for the Regulations to apply and as such the Regulations do not apply. For the avoidance of doubt, no reference (either during or after this procurement process) to the Regulations or the use of language or terminology common to the Regulations shall require the PHA to conduct the procurement in accordance with the Regulations.
Tender for the Provision of a Shared Reading Service in the NI Criminal Justice Setting (CfT No. 4638376)
The successful Tenderer will provide a Shared Reading Service in the NI Criminal Justice Setting. This is a literature-based intervention which is delivered by trained project workers called Reader Leaders, who facilitate dynamic discussions of a text via an exploration of participants’ subjective reactions to it, the model encourages interpersonality both with the book, its author and characters, and with other group members.
This contract will run for three years from the date of commencement (with provision for up to 2 x 12 month extension periods).
